I’ve got a problem that is quite similair to the problem you had.
I burned SSBB on a Double Layer DVD+R
I put it in the wii, and it read.
But when i push the start button i only get a black screen and my remote goes dead.
I tried to change to 50Hz, but that didnt work.

I heard Freeloader doesnt work with Wii firmware 3.3, so i didnt even try that.

Anyone a suggestion?
