I’ve recently found out that english is a superior language to write poetry in (at least in compared to swedish) and that haiku is a very nice form of poetry, so why not combine them?

Anyway here is what I’ve come up with: (All of them are separate poems)
First time:

sun, rain, mist, drifting
into my mind from far home
old habits are chains

looking at people
playing, talking, having fun
weakness of my mind

wonderful days pass
birds soaring up in the sky
the end comes to fast

Second time:

silent emptiness
thoughts flying through lonely space
welcome to my world

hunting hiding joy
in the future world today
lost and forgotten

destructive, evil
world falling apart in greed
mankind’s destiny

Well, that’s what I’ve come up with. By some reason most of my poems are sad, but that’s probably because they’re a sort of reflection of my mind. Of course I would rather have a more positive look on the world, but it’s quite hard to change your personality just because you want to. Happily enough I think I’m beggining to change, so I will just wait and see…
